General Records: A digital, free archive of books, movies, etc. Search libraries Ellis Island Records  Incredible website dedicated to the 398th Bomb Group, part of the 8th Air Force who was stationed in Nuthampstead, England during WW2. Tons of photos, interviews, mission descriptions, and more. My grandfather was a navigator in the 398th and ended up contributing some information to the site.

Ohio Naturalization Records On Family Search Website & blog by John Grenham which includes a section to search the surname of your Irish relatives.

Italian Records:  Absolutely the best site for Italian records that I have found. Easy to navigate (even in Italian) and with loads of scanned records to peruse. You can now research in Italian or English.


Newspapers: You can find loads of newspapers on google…for free! …or you can pay to have access to even more!
